Empower yourself with the skills to make Special Yoga accessible to children and young people with multi-sensory impairment (auditory/visual).
This one day training course offers mindful yoga practices to empower those who wish to use Special Yoga therapeutically with children and young people who have hearing and/or visual impairment.
The course offers a range of practical tools, an adaptation of classical yoga asanas and live sessions with children or young people so that your experience is both practical and experiential.
You will learn how to adapt movement, how to use the breath, how to understand the child’s sensory perception, how to use healing and therapeutic touch and the vibration of sound.
The combination of tools and classical yoga offered on the course will give you the skills to integrate them into a therapeutic yoga session for the children.
